Well then, I know it has been forever since my last post on here but I know some people are still somewhat interested in the new tunes I have come across. This post contains the freshest of the fresh, whether that mean really new or a couple months old, most all of these are guaranteed to be bangers in some regard. Disco, House, Tech House, Techno, Drum and Bass, you name it, this post has it. I won't go into much detail about all of these but definitely give each one at least a listen. Hopefully, this gap in posts won't happen again but how am I to know how busy I will be with work and friends. Also, check the right side as I have updated all upcoming shows at each venue again (finally, I know).

Boys Noize Remixes
If you haven’t heard by now, Alex Ridha aka Boys Noize is putting together a 2 disc compilation of his best remixes. As an avid fan of this German techno god, this has greatly excited me as it’s an opportunity to pick up some quality remixes that I may have missed along the way. Now we all know the classics like Swoon, My Moon My Man, and many more (and if not, come on doood…) but there are some seriously top notch tracks that I was hearing for the first time. The full compilation will be released this Monday December 5, but Alex has been so kind to provide us with a full tracklist so we can all get a head start. Here are some of my favorite new (to me) tracks that I have picked up, and I suggest you all do the same.
Justice- Phantom Pt. II (Boys Noize ‘Unreleased’ Turbine Remix)
You’ve probably heard the version of this remix that was released by Justice. This version is fairly similar except for some minor changes in the beginning. But once the song hits the 4 minute mark Alex throws in a little acid surprise that compliments the already fantastic remix oh so well.
Gonzales- Working Together (Boys Noize Remix)
I have actually been a big fan of this song for quite some time, but I don’t think it’s that widely known so I figured I would share. It’s a fun track that’s groovy and glitchy all at the same time. It’s tracks like this that show off how versatile and talented of a producer he really is.
Working Together (Boys Noize Mix) by Antoine Moody
Para One- Dudun Dun (Boys Noize Remix)
This one is weird and acidic and everything I love most about Boys Noize. Once the beat drops around the 2 and a half minute mark, you can’t help but grind your teeth in anger (which is of course how any good acid song is measured).
Dudun Dun - Para One (Boys Noize Remix) by olyspirit
Apparat- Arcadia (Boys Noize Remix)
The first half is light and melodic, and just when he lulls you to sleep, Alex turns this into a tech-house tune so bouncy yet chilled out, you cant help but tap your foot to it.
Make sure you check out the rest of the compilation, because there are plenty of other gems in there. And if you ever get the chance to check out Boys Noize live don’t pass it up, he never disappoints.
Keep it weird, and keep it fraiche.

Ps. Apologies for the lack of posting by that lazy bum lamebrain. Make sure to give him some good hating when you get a chance.

Holy Toledo
I've always hated that saying but in this instance I feel like it is appropriate since these next few songs absolutely rock it. I can honestly say these are my 3 favorite songs at the moment and they are all no older than the beginning of summer time. First up is a song that has been remixed to death. And when I say to death I mean it. Everyone and their mother has tried a remix of Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites and most fail (not a huge fan of the original even). Some say Kaskade's is great, among others, but hardly ever did I hear anyone mention the name Gabriell. This song is completely different from any other remix I've heard and I love it for it. Not just because it's different but it's a pleasure to listen to as well. Check it out and there's a free download for it as well thanks to Gabriell himself.
Skrillex - Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites (Gabriell Remix) | Soundcloud
Next up are two massive songs by two people that I have started to listen to more and more. I've always known they were out there but never really took the time to listen to all their stuff as nothing really wowed me. This has now changed after hearing the John Dahlback remix of Big by Sneaky Sound System and Funkagenda + Adam K's song Drift. Both of these songs are phenomenal and should be played out as much as possible. Actually heard DallasK of all people drop the Dahlback remix at Webster Hall a couple weeks ago and needless to say I went ape shit. Drift has been out for a couple months but I have never really been into Funkagenda until I listened to his set from Detroit the other night when he opened for Deadmau5. Check out both below but I must warn you that wherever you are you will want to start dancing (not that that's a bad thing).

DallasK + Wolfgang Gartner
If you haven't heard by now, Wolfgang Gartner is playing at Webster Hall in a couple days (on Friday to be exact). Also, if you haven't heard, DallasK will be joining him. So yes, as if Wolfgang was not enough electro house for you, we now have DallasK gracing us with his presence at Webster Hall (Tickets). I have been waiting forever for this to happen and I have labeled this a cannot miss show in my mind. DallasK maybe inexperienced in comparison to Wolfgang but let me just say he definitely has skills. You could do a simple search for him on here and find a few songs that I'm in love with by him but nothing will compare to the song below. This is the jam, the sickness, bomb, whatever else you want to call it. I never really got around to posting it as I have been incredibly busy lately so I apologize for the delay but I hope this magnificent treat will help in the forgiving process. Do not miss this young talent from Orlando.

Its Been Too Long
I don't know what has happened the past couple weeks. I hadn't found anything that really wowed me for so long and it was non stop partying/working I think I flat out forgot to listen to good music. Have no fear though, after a nice Sunday off from the bar, I have regained my true self and have found good music once again.
The first song below is by the one and only Trentemoller, who is amazing and also playing at Webster Hall next weekend, right before Wolfgang actually (but you have to buy tickets to both to see both, they empty the venue between the two or so they say). It's a beyond chill song which I feel like every M83 song must be, even if it's remixed.
M83 - Midnight City (Trentemoller Remix)
That one was a full song, the below is simply a preview. Call this fratstep, brostep, or what have you but I still love Feed Me no matter what. And in case you haven't heard, he will be opening for Deadmau5 at Roseland Ballroom (I believe at all shows) along with Excision. If you have ever missed any performance by Feed Me I strongly suggest you check him out at the very least, one of my favorite live shows every time I've seen him. Check the radio rip of his newest song below with Hadouken. I still prefer the electro side of Feed Me but dubstep also kills it (lets be real, Blood Red and Cloudburn are two of my favorites ever).
Feed Me ft. Hadouken! - Trap Door
Alright fine, one more to thank all of you for sticking around and checking back. Tommy Noble has recently become one that I always watch for as I love electro house in general but he never seems to let me down. Just listen below and check out anything and everything he has ever put out there. Pure electro gold.
Blackout (Tommy Noble Remix) by Tommy Noble
And one more from the very unknown Ton!c, this actually came on randomly as I was typing all of that nonsense above. Huge fan of this song already and I am currently hearing it for the first time right now. Enjoy it with me (if you can listen to it the minute after I post this...).

What a week....
This week is just fantastic. No, no, I still have work so it's not that but I'm talking about the music this week. New Gemini EP (which I've been waiting to drop for probably 3-4 months) AND a new Wolfgang Gartner album. Not to mention the Porter Robinson EP that came out last week which I'm sure by now we all know about.
Gemini is organizing his US tour at the moment and is rumored to be coming stateside fairly soon (a few months we hope but sooner is obviously welcome). The entire Graduation EP is great but I simply can't get over how perfect the 3rd song H.A.T.D is. I posted about it in an InspectorDubplate mix a couple months back and have been awaiting the full version ever since. It certainly does not disappoint so give it a listen or twenty below. Gemini's EP is available most anywhere but you can get it for sure on iTunes here.
Gemini - H.A.T.D
Wolfgang's album is quite the treat as well (don't get too turned off by the featured artists and the first song, it gets better). You can purchase his album here and make sure to catch him at Webster Hall when he rolls through in October. My personal favorite unheard song on the album is below so use that to gauge your interest.

Monday Work Mix
Have to say I was very pleased to get an email about this mix being put up today on Soundcloud. We tried to see Umek at Electric Zoo but apparently he had gotten sick so he couldn't make the show. Disappointing as that was, we can all listen to this awesome live mix from him at Space, Ibiza. Perfect to get you in the zone and have some background tunes to work to. Most people I talk to prefer no lyrics when trying to work so this is the best possible mix for that. Check it out below and make sure to keep an eye out for any Umek releases as he tears it up every time.

Electro Madness!!
Happy Saturday people! As Electric Zoo has come and gone tons of new tunes have hit the web. It appears that even though festival season has reached a close producers around the world are unleashing some of the biggest bangers of the year. There are two in particular that I need to share with you all. John Dahlback recently released his song "One Last Ride" and it is a great track in itself, but what Tommy Trash did with the remix is just ground shaking. If this one doesn't get you ready to dance your pants off then there is no hope for you.

Next up is a new remix from Tim Mason. The man who gave us one the biggest electro house jams of the year with "The Moment" has just unleashed a MASSIVE remix of Lucid's "I Can't Help Myself". Personally, Tim Mason is on my short list of the producers to watch out for. Check the remix below.
Lucid - I Can't Help Myself (Tim Mason Remix)
Finally, I would like to leave you all with a FREE download of SebastiAn's remix of "Human After All" by Daft Punk. We here saw SebastiAn's set at Electric Zoo and all I can say is SebastiAn for president in 2012. Enjoy this classic!

The Chillest of Chill
I think we all know how much I love me some chillstep so I went venturing into the depths of Soundcloud and beyond in order to find you all some damn good stuff. The only producer you maybe have heard of on here is Gladkill. The others I highly doubt you have heard before and I hope I make a good first impression of them for you. I tried to pick my favorites from each but honestly they each have so much more to offer so definitely check them all out on their respective Soundclouds (links with the embed). Most all of these are free to download as well thanks to these generous artists.

A Couple of Mixes
Haven't posted many mixes lately, so seeing what has recently been posted on the interwebs, I figure it's about that time. Kaskade had the honors of doing a Radio 1 Essential Mix this past weekend and he was kind enough to post it on his Soundcloud for everyone to hear. In addition, Dillon Francis had a mini mix on Flux Pavilion and Doctor P's take over of Radio 1. To top it all off I have a more unknown name with Lucky Date dropping a solid 40 minute mix that I think I might like the best of all of them. It ranges from electro house to dubstep which is just the kind of variety that I like. Take a listen to all 3 mixes below and your ears will thank you.

A Few Goodies...
So below are just a few good songs that I have recently come across. Most are by people that I have never really posted on here. I decided to branch out and give others a shot as I tend to do when I get tired of waiting around for new music from the usual suspects. By no means are these not as good, I honestly think all of these bootlegs and remixes are phenomenal and have been playing them nonstop which is why I must share the wealth. It would be irresponsible of me to let these tunes only reach my ears and a few others so without further ado, listen and pass along the word of some of these lesser known but great producers and DJs.

News and Updates
Wow, well what a week/weekend. If you stayed in New York this weekend I hope you made it to Electric Zoo as it was pretty incredible this year and you probably saw me going insane (and sweating up a storm in those hot ass tents). Not going to go into full detail of sets as I was having too good of a time to remember a lot of them but I would have to say that the top DJ's from each day were as follows:
Friday: Carl Cox, Feed Me, Felguk, Tiga (Honorable Mention for Creepiest Set: SebastiAn)
Saturday: Sub Focus, Porter Robinson, Bloody Beetroots
Sunday: Boys Noize, Jack Beats, Michael Woods, Afrojack
All in all, it was an amazing festival that I highly recommend to anyone that was silly enough to miss it this year. After a festival like this however, the DJ's don't take a break so why should we all be able to? There have been some amazing concerts that have recently been announced around the New York area and I urge everyone to attend at least one of the following shows as they will ALL be incredible. Just take a look at the following concerts in the area that I myself am going to or am at the very least strongly considering going to:
Saturday, September 17th - Ghostland Observatory Tickets
Friday, September 23rd @ Webster Hall - Mord Fustang + Alex Metric Tickets
Friday, October 7th @ Roseland Ballroom - Deadmau5 *SOLD OUT*
Friday, October 14th @ Webster Hall - Wolfgang Gartner Tickets
Saturday, October 22nd @ Terminal 5 - HARD Haunted Mansion w/ Skream + Benga, Gesaffelstein, Dillon Francis, Joker, and Destructo Tickets
Saturday, October 29th @ Public Assembly - Miles Dyson + Proper Villains Tickets
These are a few of the shows that I think everyone should see coming up. But not only are these great, there are other ones that are even better that don't quite have tickets available for them yet. Check out the tweet below and tell me this won't be incredible:
That's right, Porter Robinson AND Madeon in New York at Webster Hall. Two of the best young DJ's around and Madeon's first time (to my knowledge) in the States, this show will be glorious. Oh and did I mention this is Halloween weekend? Even better. I'll be sure to post whenever the tickets become available as this show has only been announced on Twitter. Make sure to always keep an eye on the right side of the page for more new concerts and look for Porter's new EP Spitfire to drop on September 13th.
UPDATE: Tickets are on sale HERE now for Porter and Madeon and going VERY FAST

Monday Minimix
Been a little while since I have posted a Monday Mix but this one I simply couldn't resist telling you all about. I recently discovered Daze, another musical genius from France, and this mix doesn't disappoint in the least. This mostly disco minimix, is perfect for any sunny day for the rest of the summer. Quite a few unknown songs on here with some more familiar ones from Breakbot, Nero, and Daze himself. Definitely worth a listen along with a free download from the man himself. Check all of his remixes which are featured on his Soundcloud.

Gemini + Feed Me
Oh what a week it has been. With that bitch Irene on our doorstep there isn't much to do other than look for new music. Luckily for all of us, Gemini and Feed Me have come along and given us some very tasty songs to hear. Feed Me released a new track Cott's Face on the Meowingtons Hax Tour Trax compilation which also includes a new Deadmau5 song (a little underwhelming however). I personally love anything that Feed Me puts out there and this track isn't any different. I think the last 2 minutes may be my favorite part of the whole song but definitely check out the whole thing below. Can't miss out on any new Feed Me.
Feed Me - Cott's Face by youfeedme
Secondly, as we all should know, Gemini is releasing his EP Graduation on September 19th and has made his debut music video for the title track. I think this goes without saying but this track is a beast as all Gemini tracks are. You can preorder the full EP (4 tracks, can't wait for H.A.T.D. in full, best song ever) right here but for now enjoy this flawless song below.

Huoratron + Mustard Pimp @ Webster Hall
When I first saw this show announced I was thinking it was a maybe to go to. In all honesty, I have really wanted to see Mustard Pimp for awhile now and did not know who Huoratron was and didn't bother to look him up. That all has changed as I have received a first look of his new single Cryptocracy and let me just say I'm impressed. I don't even know how to classify his sound but it's pretty crazy and pretty sweet. I was told that it is considered "electro-grindcore", whatever that means, but it works for me. Give it a listen down below and definitely check him out at Webster Hall with Mustard Pimp this Friday, tickets are still available. Should be a ridiculous show.

HARD Haunted Mansion NYC
When it comes to EDM shows, oftentimes the best time of year for them are around Halloween for the sheer insanity that ensues. If you thought people dressed crazy for a normal show then just wait until you see anyone at a Halloween show. Of course, HARD Haunted Mansion normally ends up in Los Angeles with a fantastic lineup but this year we have gotten very, very lucky. They will be gracing us with a special NYC show on Saturday, October 22nd at the best venue in New York, Terminal 5.
The fact alone that this is a HARD Haunted Mansion show should excite everyone enough but take a look at the lineup. Skream & Benga, Dillon Francis, Joker, Gesaffelstein, and Destructo. If that isn't a lineup that has the potential for some spooky tunes then I don't know what lineup would. Gesaffelstein's deep techno jams alone make me want to kill someone every time they come on. The way I see it, Dillon Francis will warm everyone up with some bouncy, fun Moombahton and then Joker, Gesaffelstein, and Skream/Benga will murder us all in succession.
Tickets are located here and are available on Friday, August 26th (although I did find them here, available now but only at Will Call). Below are some delicious tunes from each act that I absolutely love. Take a listen and prepare to get all sorts of spooky in October.

Weekend Jams
So the weekend has finally begun as I'm sure we all know and for any of you going to Identity at Jones Beach on Sunday I will see you all there. There are plenty of new songs that have just (and i mean JUST) been released leaked. Found a bunch of them with Youtube videos so you can preview them before you go to download them. Revolvr
Revolvr has always been on my radar but I have never found something I really have LOVED from him. That has now changed after hearing him test his hand at some chillstep. Chill dubstep might be my favorite genre for when I'm not attempting to go out and party and no one really realizes that it's actually still dubstep. Sorry, it's not Skrillex, and I personally feel that it is better than Skrillex and filth dubstep in many ways. More melodic and relaxing than certain power tool noises with strong drums behind them. But I guess each has its time and place to be played. Take a listen below to the newest Revolvr remix of Florence and the Machine, its definitely a keeper. Follow him on Facebook for some free downloads.

We Love Remixes
Well, we actually do love remixes here but these are both for the actual song "We Love" by Sneaky Sound System. I really am not sure which I like better out of these but if you know any other jams by Bart B More or Pleasurekraft then you pretty much know what to expect below. Bart brings his fast pace to the track with a great synth line coupled with great use of vocals. Pleasurekraft keeps it pretty chill and tech house-ish, keeping true to their normal sound. Take a listen below but it really depends on my mood as to which I like better.

Summer Chill Time
Well despite today being a crappy day all around in NY, I feel the need to post this very chill summer jam which has been circulating for a couple months now. Pretty Lights always kills it but this is one of the best chill poolside songs of the summer. I really can't get enough of it and if I had a pool to go to I would grab a drink, sit back, and bump this. I also have posted 2 other poolside jams just for these last few weeks of summer. One is a classic that everyone must hear but the other is a newer remix of Katy Perry that I have grown fond of. So sit back, have a listen, and relax.

Deadmau5 Mix
The Ministry of Sound is celebrating it's 20 years of existence by giving out 20 mixes from their top 20 DJ's over the years. To start it all off, they are giving out Deadmau5' mix from the DJ Mag Top 100 Awards last year. Although this mix may be old, it is definitely worth a listen as all the Mau5 classics make the cut along with some other interesting choices (although if you follow Mau5 closely you have probably heard most on here). I for one can't wait for his 5 nights of chaos here in New York at the beginning of October as I have tickets for 2 of them already. I strongly recommend checking him out if you haven't gotten tickets already as he will be putting on a brand new live show (which I believe is being fully unveiled tonight in Vancouver). Can't wait to see him back at Roseland for a night (or 2 or 3) that no one will forget.

New Jack Beats
It's been awhile since we've heard much of anything from the Jack Beats crew but they have recently posted a new remix of the Aloe Blacc song Green Lights on their Soundcloud. No free download but it's worth checking out as they will be at Electric Zoo and are definitely one of the must see acts there. Trust us, they always bring the house down without fail.
Aloe Blacc: Green Lights (JACK BEATS REMIX) by Jack Beats
In addition, I have posted one of my favorite songs by them in general, I Got You Dancing (Jack Beats Remix) by Lady Sovereign. It's pretty old but it's definitely a classic that everyone should have available to them. Enjoy.

TAI returns!
TAI has just released a FREE DOWNLOAD of his autumn mix! If you heard his summer mix he gave out back in May than you already know this dude has some serious talent. This one features some amazing techno from the likes of Gessafelstein, Djedjotronic and an unreleased monster from TAI and Bart B More. Once again his excellent mixing skills show why he is one of the producers to keep an eye on. Enjoy

Dillon Francis @ Brooklyn Bowl
Dillon Francis has recently been letting loose some free tracks on his Soundcloud for all of us to hear. In my opinion, he is the King of Moombahton at this moment and therefore you all should pay close attention to anything he puts out there. Even more importantly than all of us however, is that Dillon will be playing in Brooklyn this weekend for only $5 at the Brooklyn Bowl, tickets here. I don't know if you all realize how much of a treat that will be. I can almost guarantee that this will be the cheapest show to see Dillon Francis from this point forward. Meaning he's blowing up so take advantage of this practically free show.
The top 2 are free downloads, bottom 2 only for streaming but so damn good:

Flux Pavilion + Doctor P @ Best Buy Theater Recap
From first discovering Flux and Doctor P to seeing the status of their US visas to the announcement of the show itself, I had been waiting for this show for over a year. Because of my love of most every Flux and Doctor P song, the show would have been great regardless but it exceeded all expectations.
Upon arrival, Hellfire Machina was opening and as usual, was killing it. We got there just before Flux was scheduled to go on and already had gotten into the UK dubstep mood with Eastern Jam by Chase and Status being blasted by Hellfire. Needless to say, we could already tell this was going to be a great night.
To everyone's surprise (and satisfaction) Flux came on (at 12) and almost immediately dropped Bass Cannon, getting everyone ready for what was sure to be a great set. After Bass Cannon, we were well on our way with Flux dropping most all of his classic tracks such as Hold Me Close, Cracks, Got 2 Know, and closing with Gold Dust. As most UK DJ's do, we were also given a few drum n bass/drumstep tracks like Game Time by Zomboy. The big surprise of the night was when Flux threw down I Can't Stop with Chiddy Bang making a guest appearance to rap some vocals over it. Full video of this below, thanks to cgrilling203 (we had videos but were down on the dance floor, so better quality here):
Flux Pavilion - I Can't Stop (Chiddy Bang Guest Appearance)
After Flux, Doctor P came on from 1-2 and tore it up with the same start as his Starscape set. Love Goes Down, Cascade (Cutline Remix), Sick Tonight, Star, Sweet Shop, Big Boss, and Crush On You (Nero Remix) to start off a banger of a set. Doctor P brought the hammer down on everyone with filthy track after filthy track. Ranging from his own classics all the way to moombahton with Chase & Status - Hitz (Dillon Francis Remix). A couple of my favorite tracks that he dropped were Rusko - Everyday (Netsky Remix) and Terravita - Up In The Club, both of which I didn't ever expect to hear that night. Also, tough to top Tetris when it's perfectly acceptable to yell FUCK at the top of your lungs at the drop. Doctor P brought the amazing night to an end with Innocence as his last song.
All in all, I can't say enough about both Flux and Doctor P. It was an epic night and if you have the chance to see them ever I urge you to check them out, even if you don't know much of their stuff. I know when they come back to New York that I will most certainly be seeing them again. Check the jump for more footage from the show and look for them coming to your city soon.

Skylar Grey - Invisible Remixes
Two great remixes of this Skylar Grey song which should be released this month. One by Dirty South, the other by Kaskade. I could just stop there as that should be enough to tell you how good these remixes are but I must elaborate on how upset I am to come home to the Kaskade mix being taken off of Soundcloud. Luckily, someone posted it on Youtube to save all of us and that is below. Enjoy these two gems.

More Mixes
So of course as soon as I struggle to find a new, recent mix about 5 drop in one day. I have posted a couple below, namely an A-Trak mix and a Gladkill mix. We all know who A-Trak is so he needs no introduction but Gladkill is rather unknown. Gladkill is a New Yorker who primarily produces chillstep tracks and remixes. He has posted his mix from Coachella earlier this year and it's as chill as ever. Perfect to leave on and just mellow out to. Take a listen below.

Another month, another Aeroplane mix. I don't think I will ever get sick of these as there are always tracks that I don't know on these. On top of that, they're almost all great tracks. Definitely give this one a listen as you should anything with the Aeroplane name attached to it.

The SCNTST
Boy oh boy am I excited about the young talent in the EDM world. Today, I got my first taste of the SCNTST, a 17 year old techno producer who recently got signed to Boys Noize Records. This kid has only been using ableton for a year and already has some FANTASTIC tunes (including on funky Daft Punk mashup). Check out the songs below and if you want more be sure to check out his soundcloud where most of his tracks are available for a free download!

Gemini Essentials
In case you haven't heard of Gemini, I thought I would educate everyone on how much of a boss he is. His unique style of dubstep has no BS power tool sounds like Skrillex. He is straight up heavy bass with some accompanying wobble depending on the song. Some of his songs may even be interpreted as chill dubstep (I call it chillstep but I know some hate that term) which is always a good change of pace. He even has tried his hand at some drum and bass. All in all, he is yet another epic UK dubstep producer that not many in the US have heard of, which is simply unacceptable.
Gemini first hit the dubstep scene with his massive remix of Hadouken's Oxygen. Suffice it to say that when I first heard this song I was instantly on the lookout for any other Gemini releases. It may be one of my favorite dubstep remixes out there to this day. Soon after, he released his first EP "Blue" which is all around a great EP with such amazing songs as Feel Stronger and Blue.
More recently, Gemini has been dropping remix after remix while primarily working on his newest EP "Graduation" (coming out in August). These remixes are starting to grow in popularity with the likes of Bassnectar and others dropping them live, which truly illustrates how great Gemini really is.
His upcoming release, Elevate, was recently unleashed on UKF Dubstep simply as a preview but if you follow his Soundcloud you can get a listen to the full version (below). This full version will be let loose for purchase at the end of the month, July 31st. In addition to this single, I have posted my 4 favorite tracks that Gemini has released so far. If you have a moment, make sure to check out the preview of H.A.T.D. (House Acid Techno Disco) which is sure to be a banger once it is officially released on Graduation.
Of course, once Graduation is released I will be sure to let everyone know as it would be rude not to. Cannot wait for the full release, to say the least. Now that he's finished with school hopefully we can get him to do a show over here in the States...

Disco will NEVER die
Greetings! So last night I happened to download about 40 new disco tracks from the heavy hitters Louis La Roche and Simian Mobile Disco along with some new artists such as Fred Falke. I haven't had to digest all of them yet but so far these are all pure gold. I am leaving you guys with "Look Into Your Eyes" from Fred Falke because it is raw disco. Arguably the disco jam of the summer if you ask me.

Electro Madness!!
In the last hour I have heard arguably 3 of the best electro house songs of the summer. The first, for those of you who haven't heard, is the Clockwork remix of "Levels" by Avicii. I was very hesitant to give this one a go but boy is it good. Next up we have our good friends the Bingo Players newest bootleg of Te Prodigy's "Everybody In the Place". I had no idea these guys threw down such glitchy sounding house. Quite different from Cry, but sweet none the less. Lastly, is the Kids at the Bar remix of Madison's "Hot Hot Love". This one may be my favorite of the bunch as it has a great big sound. Really hope I hear this one at some upcoming shows. P.S. Free Downloads on ALL three!

Monday Mix - Dirty South + Darth & Vader
Seeing as I've been MIA for so long I feel obligated to give you all 2 mixes today rather than just one. Even though I'm officially on vacation now I promise to try and give you all a full dose of good music for the duration of the week.
First off, Dirty South recently posted a 2 hour mix of his show at Cream, Amnesia on July 14th. Dirty South never fails in putting on a good show and I will definitely be checking him out at Electric Zoo. Always comes out with some fresh new house tracks.

Secondly, Darth & Vader had the guest mix this month on Lazy Rich's radio show and they destroyed it with their electro sound. Dropping everything from original stuff to Dirtyloud, Felguk, and Porter Robinson, it is all new electro and perfect for a pregame. If you can sit still during this mix then I applaud you and might say you don't know what the hell you're doing. Maybe this isn't the music for you. Great hour long mix, really would love to see them around NYC very soon.

Bart B More + Drop The Lime - The Bass
In all honesty, I started to write this post and considered against it as the song went on but then when it got to about 2:00 I realized this couldn't be passed up. The drop at 2:00 is awesome and makes you want to keep dancing no matter what (by the way, hoping I'm not going insane but pretty sure there is a "moo" at the drop haha). All these previews are such teases and I can't wait for fulls of all of them. This will be released on it's own EP around August 12th or 13th so definitely keep an eye out for it.

Savoy - I'm In Need
Despite being on vacation, I'm in need of this song immediately. I think I've listened to it about 10 times already and I was just shown it about a half hour ago. This new single from the trio Savoy is not your typical Savoy by any means and seeing how dubby it is I love it. Anytime a group tries their hand at a different genre its always exciting to see what they come up with and they do not disappoint. They released this short promo video the other day and this song absolutely kills it. Below I have posted the promo and a full length live version (best quality I could find). Prepare for HEAVY bass on the drop on the live version, definitely pump up your speakers for the duration. Check for this single to drop on August 3rd on Beatport and props to Bex for pointing this out to us all (you all should thank her for this gem as well).

Wolfgang New Single
If you don't know by now I'm a huge Wolfgang Gartner fan but because of work and now vacation (I'll be back next Sunday, try to update as much as possible) I haven't seen this until today. His newest single Menage a Trois is coming out on August 4th and he has dropped a preview of it very recently in celebration of him launching his new Soundcloud account. As we have come to expect from Wolfgang, the song is an instant banger and all the time and effort he has put into it definitely shows with every little bit of it. Watch for the full version to be released on August 4th and his new album Weekend in America to come out on September 20th. Needless to say I will be purchasing this album and single and I suggest you all do the same.

Swanky Tunes
The July 2011 Promo mix from Swanky Tunes is awesome if I may describe it in one word. Great jams from the likes of Hardwell, Laidback Luke, Thomas Gold, and of course, Swanky Tunes. If I were ever to recommend that someone listen to a mix, I would more than likely choose this one for all the latest progressive house and house bangers. Seriously probably just going to throw this on at my next pregame so I don't have to keep picking new songs to play. Check this out and enjoy it while it lasts, it's hard not to like it.

Another Zeds Dead Minimix
Posted one of these a little while ago but it was only like 10 minutes long which wasn't nearly enough time to completely enjoy the dubstep of Zeds Dead. Thankfully on this newest one they've tripled that length to around 30 minutes long (with 10 minutes of talking at the end). Lots of unreleased stuff on here but also some older stuff like Rude Boy. Make sure to check this mix out in its entirety and also don't forget to check Zeds Dead at the Mad Decent Block Party at the end of July for free. All you need to do is go here and RSVP, remember, it's FREE.

Feel So Close (Nero Remix)
I'm sure by now we have all heard the newest Calvin Harris single Feel So Close. It has that signature Calvin Harris feel with him back on the vocals. Throw Nero in the mix and I don't think it can be topped at all. This remix absolutely kills it, instant banger. No legit download up yet as this is the first anyone is hearing of it and it is up for preorder at the moment. Definitely looking forward to seeing Nero live at Identity Festival, maybe most excited to see them in all honesty.

Avicii Added to ID New York
Yes, it's official. Avicii (and the Disco Biscuits) has finally been (re?)added to the New York lineup of Identity Festival. Because of this, I highly recommend buying a ticket despite the poor venue choice of Jones Beach Theater. There were $20 tickets on sale yesterday thanks to Skullcandy but hopefully they will release another go around of discounted tickets. Below I have posted his latest jam Don't Give Up On Us (Enough is Enough) for all to hear. Check Avicii's new website for all his latest tour updates here.

ProJect Aspect
Yesterday ProJect Aspect released a bunch of his remixes for free in an album of sorts on Soundcloud. All 320's and all free, can't complain about that. I've always been a fan of his Night by Night remix but some of these are pretty fucking awesome as well. All have a dubstep-ish feel to them as that's what he specializes in. Definitely give all of these a listen, quality stuff right here.

The Glitch Mob - We Can Make The World EP
The Glitch Mob released their newest EP today called We Can Make The World and although it is only 3 tracks it's quite impressive as most every Glitch Mob album/song is. I really think that although it's the slowest one of the three, Palace of the Innocents might be my favorite simply for how smooth and relaxing it is. There is a slight build in the middle but nothing remotely crazy, just enough to keep it moving and interesting. You can purchase the EP in full, plus some other goodies as well if you wish, at their website located here.
Don't forget to catch them when they come into town in a week in a half or so (July 22nd) with RJD2 and Phantogram at what I consider the best venue in New York, Terminal 5. Check here for tickets as it's sure to be one hell of a show with that lineup. Also, make sure to hit up their latest album Drink the Sea which is definitely one of my favorite electronic albums out there (also located on their Soundcloud)

Madeon Live Mashup
Got sent this video today via Facebook and realized it was put up yesterday by Madeon himself. This is how you mash up pop songs, plain and simple. The kid has skills and I can't wait to hear the original stuff that he has supposedly been working on since the Deadmau5 Remix. Hopefully he's also been working on his DJ skills and not just production so we can all see him tour soon (that means come to New York, please). Check out his mash up of about 39 of his favorite songs below as he does it live for all of us to see how good he really is.

Monday Mix - Illeven:Eleven
To be honest, I really don't remember how I came across the name Illeven:Eleven. I think I was talking on Turntable.fm and someone mentioned this mix. It is a bit old but let me just say this mix is fantastic. No track list unfortunately, and many songs that I had no idea what they were but it makes me want even more. Too many unknown remixes on here to count but seriously, give it a listen and you will love me for it. Might be one of my favorite mixes that I've come across. And while you're at it, if you haven't checked out turntable.fm, do that too, it's a great way to discover new music and broaden your horizons. I'm on it quite a bit so keep an eye out for lamebrain.
