Flux Pavilion + Doctor P @ Best Buy Theater Recap

From first discovering Flux and Doctor P to seeing the status of their US visas to the announcement of the show itself, I had been waiting for this show for over a year.  Because of my love of most every Flux and Doctor P song, the show would have been great regardless but it exceeded all expectations.
Upon arrival, Hellfire Machina was opening and as usual, was killing it.  We got there just before Flux was scheduled to go on and already had gotten into the UK dubstep mood with Eastern Jam by Chase and Status being blasted by Hellfire.  Needless to say, we could already tell this was going to be a great night.
To everyone's surprise (and satisfaction) Flux came on (at 12) and almost immediately dropped Bass Cannon, getting everyone ready for what was sure to be a great set.  After Bass Cannon, we were well on our way with Flux dropping most all of his classic tracks such as Hold Me Close, Cracks, Got 2 Know, and closing with Gold Dust.  As most UK DJ's do, we were also given a few drum n bass/drumstep tracks like Game Time by Zomboy.  The big surprise of the night was when Flux threw down I Can't Stop with Chiddy Bang making a guest appearance to rap some vocals over it.  Full video of this below, thanks to cgrilling203 (we had videos but were down on the dance floor, so better quality here):

After Flux, Doctor P came on from 1-2 and tore it up with the same start as his Starscape set.  Love Goes Down, Cascade (Cutline Remix), Sick Tonight, Star, Sweet Shop, Big Boss, and Crush On You (Nero Remix) to start off a banger of a set.  Doctor P brought the hammer down on everyone with filthy track after filthy track.  Ranging from his own classics all the way to moombahton with Chase & Status - Hitz (Dillon Francis Remix).  A couple of my favorite tracks that he dropped were Rusko - Everyday (Netsky Remix) and Terravita - Up In The Club, both of which I didn't ever expect to hear that night.  Also, tough to top Tetris when it's perfectly acceptable to yell FUCK at the top of your lungs at the drop.  Doctor P brought the amazing night to an end with Innocence as his last song.
All in all, I can't say enough about both Flux and Doctor P.  It was an epic night and if you have the chance to see them ever I urge you to check them out, even if you don't know much of their stuff.  I know when they come back to New York that I will most certainly be seeing them again.  Check the jump for more footage from the show and look for them coming to your city soon.

Special thanks and all credit to cgrilling203 for the following high quality videos.
