The only real genre distinctions based on location would be Dutch House or French House in my mind. I would like to offer another suggestion: Brazilian Electro. A hard hitting beat that has a nice deep electro sound, I swear you will not be able to sit still while listening to it. Granted most electro is this way but there is something about the way the Brazilians do it that makes it so much better. Names such as Felguk, Alex Mind, and Dirtyloud are a few of my favorites.
